The book explains about the "𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞" revolution: about 70,000 years ago when homosapiens start to behave in far more ingenious ways than before..About 11,000 years ago we enter on the “𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥” revolution, converting in increasing numbers from 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈. The "𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧" begins about 500 years ago which triggered the 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, about 250 years ago; which in turn triggered the 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 about 50 years ago, which triggers the 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and goes on
Thanks to Homosapiens who are willing to ask questions and trying to find answers to it.
Few abstract from the book:-
Ever since the Cognitive Revolution (70,000 years ago), Sapiens have thus been living in a dual reality. You could never convince a monkey to give you a banana by promising him limitless bananas after death in monkey heaven. But Homo sapiens does since they believe in “myth”. 𝕊𝕒𝕡𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕤 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕞𝕪𝕥𝕙-𝕞𝕒𝕜𝕖𝕣𝕤 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕓𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕤. As far as we know, only Homo sapiens can talk about things they have never seen, touched, or smelled. Think about religions, god, myths, legends, money, nations and fantasies
On the one hand, the “𝕠𝕓𝕛𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪” of rivers, trees and lions; and on the other hand, the “𝕚𝕞𝕒𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕖𝕕 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕪” of gods, nations and corporations. As time went by, the imagined reality became ever more powerful, so that today the very survival of people, rivers, trees and lions depends on the grace of imagined entities.
How do you cause people to believe in an imagined order such as Christianity, Democracy or Capitalism? 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙.
An “imagined reality” is always in danger of 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐞, because it depends upon myths, and myths vanishes once people stop believing in them. In order to safeguard an imagined order, continues and strenuous effort are imperative. Tʜᴀᴛ ᴡʜʏ Vᴏʟᴛᴀɪʀᴇ sᴀɪᴅ “Tʜᴇʀᴇ ɪs ɴᴏ Gᴏᴅ, ʙᴜᴛ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴛᴇʟʟ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴍʏ sᴇʀᴠᴀɴᴛ, ʟᴇsᴛ ʜᴇ ᴍᴜʀᴅᴇʀ ᴍᴇ ᴀᴛ ɴɪɢʜᴛ.”
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞. The inter-subjective is myth that exist among many individuals. For example, God is a inter-subjective myth which exist among multiple individuals. If I alone fail to believe in the existence of God, still the myth is alive among many other individuals. Changing the conscious of billions of people which is not easy. Change of such magnitude can only be accomplished with the help of a complex organisation, such as a political party, an ideological movement, or a religious cult. It follows that in order to change an existing imagined order, we must first believe in an alternative imagined order.
The existing imagined order sustaining the network of people was neither neutral nor fair. The divided people into make-belief groups, arranged in a hierarchy. The upper levels enjoyed privileges and power, while the lower ones suffer from discrimination and oppression. 𝙀𝙭:- 𝙃𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙞’𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙙𝙚, 𝙑𝙚𝙙𝙖𝙨 𝙚𝙩𝙘. (Atleast Hammurabi code tries to prevent the elite class suppressing the working class) Hindus who adhere to the caste system believe that the cosmic forces have made one caste superior to another. Religious people were put in place to enforce and to justify these divisions and myth.
Sapiens instinctively divide humanity into two parts, “𝐔𝐬” 𝐚𝐧𝐝 “𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦”. “Us” is people like you and me, who share our language, religion and customs. We were all responsible for each other, but not responsible for “them”. We were always distinct from them, and all them nothing. We don’t want to see any of them in our territory, and we don’t care an iota what happens in their territory. They were barely even humans. The fight between us and them goes on and on for almost thousands of years. Priest, politicians, emperors preach that the “us” is superior culture and “them” as inferior culture for their propaganda.

Ignoramus - “we do not know everything”.
No concepts, idea or theory is sacred and beyond challenge. Pre-modern traditions of knowledge such as Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Confucianism,Vedas etc asserted that everything that is important to know about the world was already known. But the modern science is based on the ideologies of ignoramus. The willingness to admit ignorance has made modern science more dynamic, supple and inquisitive than any previous traditions of knowledge. After the scientific revolutions, the idea of the progress gained momentum. The idea of progress is built on the notion that if we admit our ignorance and invest resources in research, things can improve.
The 𝚒𝚍𝚎𝚊 𝚘𝚏 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚜 is built on capital and how the capital is being re-invested for the benefit of all. The mantra of progressive society is: “The profit of production must be reinvested in increasing production”. A pharaoh who pours resources for building a pyramid or great king building a grand temple is act of money wasted on non-productive activities. Pre-modern kings looted the neighbours or their own citizens in fact and built grand temples and sculptures of no use. Kingdoms or Nation which protected their traders;flourished and those who protected their priest; vanished.
The whale shark must keep swimming in order to live. If they stop swimming, they stop receiving oxygen. They move or die. Homosapiens are more or less like whale shark.!!
